was diagnosed with Stage 2B triple-negative breast cancer in July 2019 after a self-examination, and stands proud as a blessed breast SurviveHER! She endured a rigorous health process as a carrier of the BRCA 1 gene mutation including chemotherapy treatment, bilateral mastectomy and a salpingo-oophorectomy. It was through that rigor that God revealed her purpose – to help save the lives of other women. Lyndsay’s testimony is faith-filled and an inspiration to women faced with a breast cancer diagnosis.
Lyndsay is a Houston-based multimedia personality and consultant. She graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and dual minors in dance and secondary education and is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
“I created the SurviveHER™ to give women hope for a fabulous, healthy future, post-breast cancer. My prayer is that my first-hand experience and testimony will help to alleviate fear of the unknown. SurviveHER is founded on support, community and faith – the pillars that carried me through diagnosis, treatment and multiple surgeries, and continue to carry me along my journey!
